Infinity Ward has finally released a reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The trailer itself proceeds to show the game’s main storyline completely letting go of all reality and blasting itself off to sci-fi land, as giant space ships, robots and controllable outer-space fighter jets are plastered all over the footage that is shown by the trailer. We can also see that the player will definitely be taken to other moons and planets at some point in the game, which means that zero gravity mechanics will be implemented into the game’s single-player and hopefully multiplayer to spice things up a bit.
The end of the trailer also reveals that a remastered version of the original Call of Duty; Modern Warfare will be included with the copy of COD: Infinite Warfare Legendary Edition. The remastered version only appears to have updated the graphics and in turn left the gameplay itself alone. However it is also possible that the multiplayer for Modern Warfare will be released with the game, therefore offering old players a return the classic days of COD multiplayer, and a new experience for those that have only joined in over the past few years.
The trailer confirms that the game is set to release on November 4th 2016, so there’s still more than enough time for new footage and trailers to be released by the developers, giving us more info on new mechanics and features that will be included in Infinite Warfare.
April being the last month before the release of Fallout 4s most anticipated DLC so far, Far Harbor. A lot of new updates alluding to features of the DLC were added, here are the things we learnt about Far Harbor in April.
The Children of Atom may be a joinable faction:
A update to the PC version of the game added 12 new face paints for the player character, these face paints all having names that tie into the Children of Atom, although they are untextured, a video from a YouTuber shows all 12 of the face paints in game, could these potentially mean that the Children of Atom is a joinable faction? We believe so. An official extract from Bethesda says that the DLC is heavily focused on the Children of Atom and their involvement on the island of Far Harbor:
A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.
There will be over 30 new settlement objects:
During a recent post, we detailed how a forum member had found information about the newest update for Far Harbor in the 1.5 updates files through Data Mining, new items such as elevators and racks are meant to be released in Far Harbor (To read more about the update, check out the post here)
